A 153cms mare, 6yrs old when we purchased her from her breeder Gerry Ward, out of TINKAS BOY. Charlotte had great success both show jumping and competing in working hunter pony classes. Charlotte was fortunate enough to take this little horse on the Sunshine Tour in 2016 where they were successful in numerous classes, most notably winning in a strong field the 1.15 meter ……. class with some well known names behind them! Taggie won and qualified for the Member’s Gold Cup at the British Showjumping Championships, Stoneleigh in 2016. Taggie gave Charlotte her first taste of show jumping in Foxhunters as well as competing at some premier league BS shows.

Taggie’s real forte lay in the Working Hunter Pony classes. Unknown in these competitions she won and went Champion at her first show and qualified for The Royal International Horse Show in 2015 where she jumped one of only two clear rounds, won and went Reserve Champion. She qualified the following year and again jumped clear and was third and qualified for Horse of the Year Show in 2016 where she jumped another clear and was 5th. A very impressive achievement as she had never jumped at HOYS before and for such a young horse to not be fazed and jump clear the first time was a tremendous achievement.

Charlotte and Taggie were also selected due to their consistent performance throughout the year in 2016 to represent England and jumped a clear in the International competition at the British Show Pony Summer Championships 2016. They were also 3rd in the Desert Orchid competition over a long and difficult track. She really was a jumping machine as well as having the confirmation to attract top scores in the WHP competitions making her one of the top Working Hunter Ponies in the country. No other pony jumped so consistently clear throughout the 2016 and she was the only pony to jump clear around both the RIHS and HOYS tracks last season.
